Hi all, I'm a young (16 yr old) composer without any real formal training, though I am taking a "fundamentals of music" course at my college this semester. However, I'm very passionate about music and have taught myself a few things in the past six months or so, using Midi Online resources and pure exploration to get a grip on some things.

I just finished a small piece for a mixed chamber ensemble yesterday, a roughly three minute (69 measures in 4/4 at 90 bpm with one measure in 2/4) piece for piano, flute, violin, and cello. The MIDI is pretty cheesy, so I hope that's excusable, but one can still tell what's what and I have a lot of confidence in the writing itself.
