We were warmly welcome by the Residents and staff at Marlandwood East. The Assistant Activity Director Stephanie was so helpful and professional. We had requests for music of Conway Twitty, Merle Haggard, Garth garth brooks first wife. So I accommodated them with Hello Darlin from Conway Twitty. The Merle Haggard song I sang for them was 'Swinging Doors". Garth Brooks song was 'If tomorrow Never Comes'. Blanca had the crowd singing with her Grandpa and These Boots are made for walking. S...o proud of how far my wife has come. She has brought so many smiles to the faces of so many people. Blanca not only runs our sound and prepares our music, her background as a Electronic Technician has kept our equipment in shape and has made electrical repairs. I am blessed to have such a beautiful Loving caring wife that I love very much. Not only is my wife a Super supporter of The Scotty Ray Show, Mrs Marshall (Lil Nakima mom) has been there constantly supporting in every way I can imagine. Mrs Marshall and her husband Mr Micheal Marshall have taken our 15000 plus song library, our secular, Gospel, holiday music, and they have transferred them to an external hard drive and one back up hard drive. The program application we decided to use for our show is used by the movie and music industry. It as simple as setting our entire show up on the laptop, once the show and our songs are selected a push of a button the entire show will be Runned automatically by the computer. Mr Niurka Marshall and her husband are Christian people and have raised their children with those values . Lil Nakima today again had the facility packed wanted to see and hear her sing. Lil Nakima is working on alot of the 50s and the 60s songs. She is Preparing for our upcoming booked shows outside of the Nursing and Medical facilities. We are currently working with the YMCA and The City of Copperas Cove to have The First Sock Hop later this year inside the YMCA gymnasium.We are Looking at one more Entertainer to add to the show.
