There are many patriotic songs played on Fourth of July, the key one being the national anthem, The Star Spangled Banner. The Star Spangled Banner was written in 1814 by Francis Scott Key as he watched a battle in Baltimore, Maryland during the War of 1812.

Many other patriotic songs are played on Independence Day including “God Bless America,” “This Land is Your Land,” “America the Beautiful” and “My Country tis of Thee”.
