For some reason I ended up watching this music video on the TV and was basically horrified that a girl band in 2016 was promoting the ridiculous storyline that it follows. The 'geek' girls of course have to transform themselves to become cool and 'get the guy'. We wonder why it is that women constantly feel inadequate and girls get bullied? I also know little mix are a band that supposedly empower girls and girls look up to them but to be quite honest I found this music video a little disturbing in the messages it's sending. Sorry it probably seems a bit extreme and feel free to disagree I just needed the vent!
