On Tuesday a child approached an educator and said “Do you know we live on the world?” An educator then sat down with the children and extended their interest by showing them a world map poster of a world map. We then sat down as a group and discussed about the different countries on the map. We then made our own world map using recyclable cardboard. The children also chose what paint they would like to paint their map with. This allowed the children to become aware of the diverse culture that surrounds our environment and how we can all be ONE!!
