As some of you may have noticed, I have been absent from facebook evening dresses for plus size about 2 months now. I have been in a bad place and couldn't cope so had to just hide away. I'm still not good but thanks to amazing family, some good friends and a very unexpected turn of events I have some of my fight back again. A few days ago, in a bid to face some of my demons, I posted the photo below on my instagram and business page. The comment on the photo explains why it's facing my demons. I was ...so sure I'd be horrendously trolled again but to my surprise, so far, I have received nothing but utterly lovely comments. Yesterday I was shocked when my instagram started going crazy because Pinup Girl Clothing had shared my photo on their instagram. Since then Rhapsody Artajo has shared it on her instagram and Pinup Girl Clothing have shared it on their facebook page too. Rhapsody Artajo (pinup girl model), Micheline Pitt (pinup girl model and clothing designer), Laura Byrnes (clothing designer who designed this dress) and Megan Crabb (body positive warrior) have all commented on the photo on instagram or private messaged me. At last check the share on Pinup Girl's instagram had over 4500 likes. I just can't believe it. All of the above has made me finally feel like I can face the world a bit again. Maybe I'm not as bad as I think I am. And maybe I can work on getting better. To everyone who has been there for me when I've been awful to be around, thank you. I'm so emotional right now but for the first time in a very long time it's for good reasons.
